Immunity-Boosting Fruits & Nuts Salad That Gets Your Blood Pumping and Invigorated

Its Cathy and I'm back again with a delicious and healthy recipe! Many people that I’ve spoken to believe that exercise is the only reason why I’m always brimming with energy. While exercise is important, my diet which is full of vegetables plays a key role too. And there is no better way to consume my daily greens than through a delicious, crunchy salad.

As one might imagine, the main attraction of a salad is the greens. For this reason, you should choose whichever type of vegetable is your favorite. Personally, though, I picked kale as it is a superfood that is rich in vitamin A, omega-3 fatty acid, and water content so it helps you to lose weight by filling you up but lacks calories.

What are the benefits?

Adding to this recipe is an assortment of fruits as well as nuts. Not many people know this but nuts are heavy in iron which is important for our blood cells to carry oxygen around our body. If you ever feel fatigued or tired during the day, you should grab a handful of nuts as you may have an iron deficiency.

At the same time, nuts contain a great amount of essential fatty acids that provide a natural moisturizer for our skin. Finally, one can’t forget the extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar to give it that final punch. Altogether, you get a splendid easy-to-make dish that is clean and tasty.
