As fall arrives, it brings with it a load of fun, seasonal activities that are exclusive to this time of the year. From carving pumpkins to tending your garden, there are plenty of things to do. However, when it comes it one's wellness, it is always best to be in the sun.

1) Raking Leaves
The turn of the season means the leaves are changing and your garden is filled with their colors. However, having a visually stimulating lawn also means tending to it afterward. Raking leaves may seem like a simple task at first but it can be quite a workout. As you are bending, squatting, and pulling every part of your body, you are training a majority of your muscles.
2) Play Football
There is a reason why football season starts in the fall, and that's because the weather is perfect for it! Gather a group of friends and family and toss the old pigskin around. Not only will you be able to relish running around in the crisp air, but you'll get to socialize and get a workout in. Just remember to dress warm and stay hydrated.
3) Apple Picking
Not only are you going to work up a sweat from collecting and carrying plenty of apples, but your body will thank you for the delicious treat as well. Apples are a rich source of soluble fiber, which helps lower cholesterol and aid digestion. They also support your immune system so as the saying goes, "an apple a day keeps the doctor away."
